Hi there! Welcome!

My name is Jamie, and I am the mom of 3 boys, currently residing in Landenberg, PA. My family moved across the country in October of 2024 from Littleton, CO for a job my husband acquired on the East Coast. My middle son lives with several medical conditions, so the majority of my life over the last 11 years has been about making sure he is always constantly cared for, while managing a household. We have a house of amazing pets- and I couldn’t imagine my life without them all! My cat, Cleo, seems to be a fan favorite and is always hanging out with me while I work on projects.

My mother taught me to crochet when I was five, after I saw her sitting on the couch making a blanket for me and was entranced by the process. She gave me a hook and some practice yarn and let me figure it out. I spent recesses in Elementary school and days watching TV with friends working to get better. The first gift I ever made for anyone was a blanket for our neighbors I had growing up- they had had a baby with medical problems, and I wanted him to have a baby blue blanket to come home from the hospital to. I remember having a sleepover with my best friends as we stayed up all night crocheting and watching The 10th Kingdom. The blanket was far from perfect, in fact, I remember it being pretty terrible, but I was a kid in school wanting to give something to someone with TRUE meaning behind it. That desire has never gone away. Nor has the desire to continue to learn.

Over the last 3 decades, I have worked to learn more and more about crochet- teaching myself to read patterns, write patterns, and to work complex patterns and create beautiful items. I also love just creating from my brain- using clothing items I already love to figure out structure and style. I have grown to be very proud of a trade I continue to try and learn more and more about- like my husband and I always tell our children, “Practice makes BETTER, never perfect.”

As of late, my health has declined. Additionally, moving across the country for my husband’s job also meant I had to leave both of mine. While I am working on getting my health back in order, I wanted to use my craft to help support my family. Everything purchased from my online store goes to helping pay for groceries, medical bills, and to make ends meet. I don’t take any purchase lightly and am so grateful for those who have supported me the last 35 years as I have practiced improving my trade!

Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my site- have a look around at my gallery of items I have made and items for sale, and let me know if there is anything at all I can make for you!

Long Live,

Jamie
